Details

Tying your own bandsets should be repeatable, not fiddly. The Stainless Steel Band Tying Jig holds your pouch and band strip under tension on a solid 128mm base, so every tie lands in the same place at the same stretch.

What's included:

  • Stainless steel base with a 0–10cm rule engraved on both edges
  • Fixed forked post that holds the band at the tie point
  • Sliding knurled pouch post with a quarter-turn lock

Hemostats are not included. Use your own forceps or a spare pair of hemostats to clamp the band while you wrap.

How it works: seat the pouch on the sliding post, slide it to your tie length on the rule and lock it with a quarter turn. Feed the band through the forked post, clamp it, pull to your stretch mark and wrap with Band Tying Tape. Repeat for the second side and both ties match. Works with any flat band cut from the Snipersling Latex Roll or our Die-Cut Flatband Strips.

Solid stainless steel, 567g, no suction cups or plastic parts to wear out. It sits flat on the bench under its own weight. Full details in the Specifications tab.

Introducing

Stainless Steel Band Tying Jig

Hand-tied bands drift. One side ends up a few millimetres longer than the other, and the bandset pulls off-centre. This jig fixes the pouch and the band at a set distance on an engraved rule, so both ties land in the same spot with the same stretch.

Machined from solid stainless steel with two moving parts, it sits flat on the bench under its own 567g and stays put while you wrap. It is the step up from a plastic jig for anyone tying bandsets every week.

1

Engraved 10cm Rule

A 0–10cm scale runs along both edges of the base. Set the pouch post to your tie length once and every bandset after it matches, side to side and set to set.

2

Quarter-Turn Lock

The knurled pouch post slides the length of the slot and locks with a quarter turn. No tools, no fiddling, and it stays where you put it under band tension.

Solid Stainless Base

128mm x 54mm of solid stainless steel at 567g. It does not slide on the bench, and there are no suction cups, springs or plastic clamps to wear out.

Forked Band Post

The fixed forked post holds the band exactly at the tie point. Clamp the band with your hemostats, pull to your stretch mark and wrap. The fork keeps the latex square while you tie.
