Great Kit

Bought this slingshot kit for a bit of fun and got more than I hoped for. Once you learn to tune the bands and use it right, this slingshot is amazingly powerful. I didn't even know that it came with the catchbox but once I figured out what it was I loved it. Didn't have to go searching for balls (??). I print off targets and cable tied a couple of bulldog clips to the loops inside to setup a paper target inside the box. Much more satisfying to have instant visual feedback to make corrections. Highly recommended.

Great kit for beginners

I am glad I decided on the beginner kit. The Scout X slingshot is light and well made. It is accurate and I impressed myself with the accuracy of most of my shots. I am a first time user and it was heaps of fun trying it out with my grand kids.
Having the catch box was great, it is an excellent idea and works well catching the pellets that actually hit the target. It does require a bit of muscle to put together. Some reviews say it can be pulled apart easily for storage. I found it too hard to put together to ever do that again.
I was rushed by grand kids to put it all together, so if I had a suggestion it would be to include instructions for assembling the catch box and how to attach the bands. I know how now, but the space for the bands looks, to a true beginner, too small for the band and it is important to have the band up the right way. Just a simple photographic instruction for beginners to get going.
That is not a complaint just a suggestion. I am very happy with my kit and look forward to improving my accuracy.

A great entry point to slingshots

I haven't used a slingshot since I was a kid but now I live in the country and have a bit of space I thought it would be fun to have one. The Beginnners Slingshot Kit is a great way to get into this because it offers a good collection of items to help build skill.

- Clay ammo is regular in shape and weight and, I assume, biodegradable, important because I loose many of them in the bush.

- The target box and targets helps cut down on lost rounds, a big help while learning to use the slingshot.

- I haven't used the extra bands yet but they're good to have.

In regards to service, no complaints. I ordered an extra pack of 500 clay ammo rounds and this was omitted from my delivery but I contacted the company and they immediately dispatched the missing item.

It's still early days for me but I'm looking forward to building my accuracy.

Great Product

Just like to say , service was on par . First time user having a slingshot, I bought the beginners kit as I believe this was good option for me to try. Was not disappointed, brings back my inner childhood memories of being a make believe hunter in my imagination, lol. Best Birthday Present Ever

I always struggle with what to get my husband for his birthday, but this year - for his 30th!! - he requested a slingshot. A little digging and a few search-history stalks later, I found this one that he'd saved! It had sold out, but the team was prompt in replying to my enquiry and I was notified of restocking in just a couple of days!

I feel like I’m 12 all over again.

I’m really enjoying this set. Once I tuned the bands up it’s pretty powerful. The included catch box and targets are fantastic for saving ammo. I’ve only shot clay so far, love the little puff of dust you get from a hard target.
Service was great, delivery speedy. I’ve since ordered more clay bands and they arrived fast as well.
