Stretch it tight, wrap, tuck, and it locks down. Use it for both attachment points on a flat bandset: pouch to band and band to fork. It is the same wrap-and-tuck tape shooters use worldwide, sometimes called amberbelt, and it holds through full-draw shooting without creeping.
