I shot roughly 500 rounds across several frames using varying bandsets, including different tapers and latex thicknesses, before giving this review. I did random caliper checks which showed very tight dimensional consistency, with variations within thousandths of a millimetre.

I achieved repeatable grouping at 12 metres. Impacts on a 500 gram coffee-tin target were surprisingly strong, denting even along the seam. Minor occasional shape variation, typical of natural clay, can affect flight on marginal shots, with only a handful of flyaways occurring. The pellets are durable enough to survive catch-box recovery.

After years of shooting different brands, these are the best clay rounds I’ve come across. They’re consistently sized and weighted, they hit hard for clay, and I haven’t seen better quality available in Australia. I’ve found them to be great training ammo for plinking and skill work. Excellent value in 2,000-round quantities, and if you want minimal pickup and a lower cost per shot than steel, they are a solid choice.
