These clay flat bands are spot on for slingshot use. Nice and light draw, super smooth release, and they pair perfectly with clay ammo. Accuracy is noticeably better compared to heavier bands, and they don’t wear out as fast. Easy to fit and really comfortable for longer shooting sessions. As soon as I received the clay flat bands by Aust. Post, I opened up the package and immediately installed one of three bands that was delivered. The pouch felt really soft compared to the clay flat band that originally came with my scout x, however that hasn’t changed the performance. The latex was nicely tapered and as usual fit well on the slingshot. Again, Great Product.

I use the slingshots against birds that want to nest on my roof - this may be a use you are not familiar with! Bird nests a bad news because they clog up the down pipes with nest debris and create roof leaks. So far I have not hit one, but even a near miss deters them.

Great bands for a beginner. Good value & fast delivery. Left them long to get a feel for the Scout X and while I worked out my anchor point etc. After a few sessions I can now hit a 50mm target @ 5m. Next step is draw length & tune the bands.
Using the clay balls with my slingshot. Fun to practice getting accurate. Best thing I have bought for a wile now.
